Meeting Room Use Policy

                  

The meeting room of Carsonville Public Library can be used for free for group meetings. This room is for library or library sponsored programs or for nonprofit community sponsored programs which are educational, cultural, or civic in content. This room is not for personal social functions or for-profit functions. All functions held at the meeting room must be free and open to the public. Goods and services may not be sold, except at library and library-sponsored programs. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Library Director.Food and non-alcoholic drinks may be served in the meeting room but smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Community groups are welcome to use any audiovisual equipment that is housed at the Carsonville Public Library. However, library staff will not be on hand to operate the equipment. Community groups may schedule the room up to 90 days in advance. Community groups must fill out an application before using the room. Any group or individual may be prohibited from using the Carsonville Public Library meeting room for failing to use the meeting room as scheduled and/or for violating any of the meeting room use guidelines or library standards of acceptable behavior.
